When Should You Visit Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge?
The dry seasons from June to October and January to February give you the most reliable game viewing, when animals gather around water sources and thinner vegetation makes rhino easier to spot. The green seasons from March to May and November to December trade a little convenience for lush scenery, quieter roads and outstanding birdwatching, and the lake's rhino and birdlife reward a visit in any month.
If the road journey does not appeal, you can fly from Nairobi's Wilson Airport to a nearby airstrip and continue by road transfer, with private transfers arranged on request.
